Ok for one night, no more

The hotel is located super close to the museum area and in a nice street.

The room was extremely small and the bathroom was not clean properly. Also it looked different than the photos.

Good

The location is lovely and close to main museums/tram stops. The building is cozy and authentic. The breakfast was mainly decent for this budget, hovewer some day-today variations could improve it.

I've never seen another hotel asking for additional payment for each hot drink during breakfast. Plus note on automatic fines for taking food from breakfast with you. Its pathetic and not friendly for guests. Also 100 EUR security deposit (or 200 in cash) was a surprise, althoug it was successfully unfreezed on check-out

We had to walk up four stairs. No elevator. The room smelled like chemicals. The mattresses were not so comfortable.

Very Good

The location is great, right next to all the famous museums and there is a direct access to the center by metro and tram. Neighborhood is quiet and we had a very pleasant stay.

Overall was great however if you have difficulty climbing the stairs this is not the place for you.

Cultural and nice

It was great value for money. A lengthy flight up the stairs, but we knew this when paying for this. A 40 minute walk to the city centre, easily accessible via public transport, but we chose to walk. Lovely room and lovely workers whenever we bumped into them

Maybe more lighting in the staircases, and on entry it would be helpful if the staff could speak about the breakfast options, as we had no idea how much it costed etc. Obviously we could’ve just asked bur we had been travelling all day and was tired

Lovely stay in a central area with great customer service.

Great location and easy access to public transport. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The narrow stairs can be difficult to bring luggage up and down, but that we were aware of this when making the booking.

Good location, price, breakfast and really nice staff! Problem: Stairs and rooms' confort.

I really liked the location. I was there for a conference at RAI Amsterdam, it was right in the middle of city center and RAI. The breakfast was quite good! And the staff were really cool and helpful!

The first room we got hadn't a private bathroom (my fault that I didn't see this information while booking) and it was on the 4th floor. The stairs are quite hard to go upstairs and the first room wasn't that clean (there were things from the last clients on the floor). The second room was cleaner (I asked to change to a private bathroom room) and on the second floor, which was much better to go upstairs. There was no AC there and it turned quite hard to sleep because of the hot temperature on the room.

The stairs are straight and high, so if you have issues in walking stairs this is not a good option. But otherwise overall nice and cozy hotel

Very Good

The hotel is far from Center around 3 km and it's easy to go and back with Tram and Metro. Walking from here to the city center on different routs are also great (i did that 3 times). There are some nice cafeterias along the main street and not far from the hotel. The single room was small but clean, the staffs were nice and supportive. I checked out at 11:00 but i could leave my luggage there until evening. Of course the stair in the hotel is small and high but that is typical in Amsterdam. I am satisfied with this hotel and the location. This is good choice for a two star hotel.

Great location for basic hotel!

Great location, close to public transport and main coffee strip. Walking distance to museum area. Room was a decent size, beautiful balcony. Smart TV was a plus. Good wifi.

The addition of kettle and bar fridge would be nice. Also two single beds pushed together instead of a double wasn’t great. A little bit pricey but all of Amsterdam is.

A very cozy and pleasant stay near the Rijksmuseum area

The location is very convenient if you want to stay outside the busy downtown area and be close to the Rikjsmuseum area. There are plenty of restaurants and markets in the area as well. The walk downtown took about 30 minutes from here. The top floor annex rooms are pleasant.

Everything was fine for my stay.

Great overall, just not in hot weather.

Location was great for me and close to the tube. Room is functional and thought it was really clean. Breakfast was average, but I appreciated it. Staff was as helpful and accommodating as they could be; very friendly. Overall I thought it was good. Sharing a bathroom and toilet was not bad at all.

I know there was a fan in the room to help with lack of air in. But as it was very hot in the room especially on the first day so was very hard to sleep. It got better on other days and I am unsure what could have been done about the matter just be aware.
